DESIGN & ESTIMATE SUPERVISOR

Duties and Responsibilities:
RECEIVE & REVIEW REQUESTS FOR DESIGN & ESTIMATE.
• Study and review plans and specifications to ensure that manufactured products are conforming to the requirements.
CONDUCT ACTUAL SURVEY.
• Conduct actual measurement at site to verify machine room area, building orientation, system application, available electrical power supply and drain facilities.
PREPARE DESIGN / INSTALLATION SPECS.
• Calculate cooling load requirement to determine system capacity using available forms, tables, charts, historical data, brochures and other references.
• Select equipment from manufactured products in order to meet system requirements.
• Prepare scaled system equipment, duct and refrigerant piping layouts in order to obtain approximate measurements.
• Prepare equipment and installation specifications and schedules.
PREPARE COST ESTIMATE.
• Prepare installation cost estimate to ensure competitiveness in the industry.
SUBMIT TO SALES FOR QUOTATION PREPARATION AND MAINTAIN FILE.
• Submit estimated cost to sales within specified time frame to meet submission date of quotation to clients.
REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS
• Graduate of Mechanical Engineering; preferably Licensed Engineer.
• With at least 5-10 solid work experience in related field.
• Computer Literate.
• Good in written and oral reporting.
• With good leadership qualities.
• Skills in fostering a stimulating, accepting learning working environment.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationship with superior, peers and colleagues.
