Reporting Relationships

Purchasing
·Prepare cost estimates and analysis for Direct and Indirect Production
materials/equipments
·Negotiate material/equipment prices
·Review and recommend approval of Direct and Indirect Production
materials/equipments Purchase Orders (P.O.)
- Direct Materials (Paint, Petroleum, Oil, Lubricant, Sealer, Thinner, etc.)
- Indirect Materials (gloves, rags, compressed gases, paint & chemical
products, etc.)
·Evaluate and test Direct and Indirect Production materials/equipments
based on Nissan Engineering Standards (NES) or equivalent approved
standards
·Conduct supplier meetings and plant visits for Quality, Cost,
Development and Delivery matters
·Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspection and Audit
·Prepare Engineering Modification Information (EMI) for changes in the
specifications of Direct and Indirect Production materials/equipments
·Prepare cost evaluation and cost comparison for items with several
suppliers
·Monitor the delivery of Purchased items
·Prepare periodic supplier’s delivery performance report
·Follow up deliveries of parts and materials from local suppliers
·Conduct periodic physical inventory checks on all assigned items
·Follow up deliveries of parts and materials from local suppliers

·Conduct periodic physical inventory checks on all assigned parts
·Recommend proper stocking procedure to the Warehouse Section
·Prepare issuance documents, such as Material Issuance Order (MIO),
Parts Distribution List (PDL) and Delivery Receipts (DR)
·Ensure updated posting of all accountable forms, such as Purchase
Requisition Form (PRF), Purchase Order (PO), Receiving Report (RR),
Material Demand Order (MDO) and Direct Materials Consumption
Report
·Maintain ERP system Items and Vendors database
Others
·Perform other duties that may be assigned by the immediate superior
Job Requirements
Education
·Bachelors Degree, preferably in Business Administration or Engineering
Experience
·Minimum of 3 years experience in Purchasing and/or Inventory control
