SR. PHP Developers
We are currently interviewing candidates for a full-time Senior PHP Developer position. Successful candidate will actively participate in coding applications, services and integrating with Flex, Flash and HTML/Javascript.
Additionally, the SR. PHP Developer will contribute to ongoing code management and development process best practice methods and participate in requirements analysis, design, code test and support phases of software product development.
Responsibilities include:
• Developing detailed design specifications from a set of requirements
• Implementing coding solutions
• Building unit tests as needed for products
• Integrating third party solutions as needed into the system
• Designing and developing interfaces between logical components of system
• Participating in QA and maintenance processes
• Mentoring less experienced team members
Skill Requirements:
• An understanding of web based application architectures and SaaS
• Expert with MySQL
• Expert in LAMP
• Experience with Zend framework and OOP standards and Ruby
• Experience with eCommerce application development and API integration
• Knowledge of AMFPHP and experience with Flash/Flex integration with PHP
• Knowledge of using PHPDoc style code comments
• Experience with version tracking/control (SVN or Github)
• Degree in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent work experience
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Able to work in a collaborative team environment
• Strong presentation, communication, and collaboration skills, enabling effective interaction and knowledge transfer to teammates.
• Must be self-motivated
• Positive attitude and absolute professionalism in the workplace
• Strong aptitude and desire for learning and growing skill set
• Sense of urgency and ability to juggle multiple high priority tasks
• Fluent English, both written and spoken
